Jacques est sans nul doute possible le meilleur et le plus talentueux ventriloque de sa génération. Je n’en voudrais pour seule preuve qu’il se fait engager chaque année pendant une semaine au Waldorf Astoria à New York, exactement comme son illustre prédécesseur Edgar Bergen.
Mon ami Jacques est, en plus, d’une gentillesse et d’une modestie à toute épreuve et ce que j’apprécie chez lui c’est aussi, dans son numéro, son manque total de vulgarité, contrairement à nombre de ses confrères actuels.
