Depuis plus de quarante années je me suis constitué une modeste collection de cartes postales anciennes, semi-modernes et modernes.
Tout d’abord je me suis efforcé de trouver, comme la majorité des cartophiles j’imagine, celles qui concernaient mon bourg natal, Motreff dans le Finistère. C’était à une certaine époque un bourg très vivant et un des grands centres ardoisiers du Kreiz Breizh. Alors j’ai bien évidemment élargi mes recherches aux cartes représentant les ardoisières, en allant du Rick à St Goazec à Plévin et Gourin et Motreff bien entendu.
Nous avions quitté Motreff pour aller habiter Scaër et j’ai amassé un assez grand nombre de cartes concernant cette petite ville.
De 1969 à l’année 2002 j’ai enseigné au collège Jules Ferry à Quimperlé. Cet établissement, ancien couvent d’ ursulines, est bien typique de l’architecture du XVIIème et il existe quantité de cartes le concernant. Mme Brillet, l’hitorienne quimperloise, y enseignait l’ histoire et c’est donc elle qui me donna l’envie de l’imiter, car elle possédait une importante série de cartes à son sujet. J’ai naturellement ensuite élargi mes recherches à tout Quimperlé.
Les cartes concernant Mellac un village proche de Quimperlé où je réside depuis 1972 sont peu courantes mais vous aurez l’occasion d’en voir.

5) Cartes postales de magiciens
6) Cartes postales de ventriloques
7) Cartes postales à systèmes ( tirettes et volvelles)
Cartes postales arcimboldesques.
9) Cartes en chromolithographie et découpis en 3 niveaux et plus de la St Valentin.
